Then....
And now....
She is amazing!
Well, my little baby is now 1 year old. I cant believe it. It went by way too fast, and I know time is just gonna start flying even faster. We celebrated at home with a small family party this past Sunday and Ellie had a great time hanging with all of her cousins. It was nice to have the whole family together to celebrate Ellie's first year. She ate her very own cake that her Auntie Andrea made her, and she had frosting everywhere!!! Nowadays Ellie is into everything!!! She will never sit still! She is basically running, she doesn't just mosey around, it's like a really fast walk. Sometimes, her legs move too fast for her body and she takes a spill, it's funny. She always gets right back up and keeps going. She also has an extremely high tolerance for pain, because she'll bump her head on things, or run into the leg of the table and you'll hear a loud "Thud" and you'll kinda wait for her to cry, but she rarely does. She's our little headstrong lady :) She's really been talking up a storm too. This month, her favorite word is "Go". She will point at the dogs and yell out "Go" several times.... I can't possibly imagine where she got that from hahaha.... She also loves to say the word "Car", because a friend of ours gave us a little Fisher Price type Car that she sits in and she can be pushed in it, and she LOVES that thing! She will just stand at the sliding glass door with her face pressed against the glass, staring at her car and saying "Car!" And lately, when she wakes up fussy from a nap, one or two laps around the block in her car calms her right down. Lastly, I will mention how proud I am just to be Ellie's mom. She is such an amazing little person. She never surprises me, and every day I thank God for such a special and unique young lady in my life. I already know she is very smart, and she is great with other people, she loves to wave and flirt with everyone! Strangely, the only person she ever cries about is her pediatrician, and thats probably just because he pokes and prods at her! HaHa... I love this girl so much. I even miss her in the morning before she wakes up, like, for example, on the days I go and work out, I get really excited on my way home because I know she will be awake with her sleepy eyes and crazy hair. This past year has by far been the best year of my life, and I can't wait for every new memory to come with my new TODDLER!!!!
